Me: “Why didn’t you shut down your laptop properly?”
M: “It wanted to install automatic updates, so I wanted to tell it to go f*ck itself and forced it to shutdown.”

Somehow I’ve managed to drive 80,000 miles without ever changing my sparkplugs. This weekend, it was time. I ended up pulling the original plugs out which meant 120,000 miles on that one set of plugs.
As a result, the car now drives much, much smoother. It’s actually quite amazing.
This weekend I also transferred music to my cellphone for the first time after 18 months of ownership. It took 20 minutes to transfer a 30MB MP3 episode of TWiT over Bluetooth from my laptop. The phone played the file back effortlessly. Unfortunately, the phone doesn’t have a standard mini-plug out, so I won’t be giving up my iPod any time soon for podcast listening during the morning commute.
I spent last weekend in Florida taking part in the bachelor activities for Ernie. We played way too much Halo 3, raced our cars around the Gainesville Raceway and consumed some excellent seafood down in Titusville. The only downside was realizing how terrible my car(not pictured) handles on the track. So now I crave something more.

As the housing market slows, the new construction continues in our neighborhood. This is one of many streets full of empty homes just a few blocks over from us. Obviously the abunance of empty new homes will make it even more difficult to sell slightly used homes just down the street.
