The Perfect Drive

It took two and a half years, but today on my way to work I was finally able to drive all the way down Nolensville Road from Old Hickory Blvd. to Thompson Lane without stopping at a single traffic light. Usually the light by Lowe’s or the Harding intersection gets me every time. Today however, it was green the whole way through.

No witnesses, unfortunately. I kind of did the "no mention of the no-hitter" with myself though. It wasn't until I was about 2/3rds through that I realized what was going on and had to retrace my drive through my mind. Traffic is surprisingly light at the 8:30-8:45 hour.

I don't believe this post. Was anybody there with you to witness it?

(If so, I hope you guys did that "pitcher in the 7th inning of a no-hitter" thing where no one mentions the no-hitter to him; absolutely no mention of this shocking aberration on Nolensville Road.)

That's quite impressive. I was always happy if I could make it down West End from my old house to Centennial Park. I think it only happened a few times, and that was probably because it was after 11 and almost all the lights are blinking.
