There are a couple kinks to work out still, but we finished up our company website just recently. Lots of Flash 8 video goodness. LifeViewResources.com
I finally bit the bullet and turned off DHCP on my router. Including my rommate’s machines, we have up to 5 computers running at once. That includes a TeamSpeak server, plus the webcam server which runs the CheeseCam. Lately the router has decided to renew the DHCP lease on all these machines often. It seems the power goes out around here quite often as well, which also adds to the constant lease renewal. Of course, this means all these machines are assigned new IP addresses every time, which meant me having to go in and reset the port forwarding for the TeamSpeak and webcam servers every time as well. Not to mention my rommate calling me every other night asking me to fix the server. So I’ve finally switched to static IP addresses and hopefully will be leaving all this hassle behind.
Finally got my photos from the Atlanta trip up on Flickr. Only about 6 months late.
We ended up only being able to actually ski the Thursday night we got there. Rain came down all day Friday and it snowed all day Saturday with winds of 40-60mph. Much fun was had nonetheless. Pictures are up on Flickr.
